Breathing but Dead
Most of us feel dead inside ourselves. We go to work to earn a paycheck. We go home to look after the family. If lucky, we might be able to squeeze some time for exercise or a mindless TV show. The cycle repeats again. That's not living, that's merely existing.
You are not the only one. I feel it too. Some days, I thought I have figured out my life. There are also days where I feel trapped in this pointless existence. I supposed the purpose of life is about finding meaning, but never really coming to a conclusion.
Instead of seeing life as one long journey stacked in years, see life on moment-to-moment basis. How can you make the next 5 minutes the best you can? When the day is over, tell yourself you have done your best and say thanks to everything that happened to you. Even if you die in your sleep, you die in a grateful mind frame.
