Don't Worry. No One is Going to Read It
"Simon, you writing is not exactly good. Why do you still hit the publish button?"
I do agree with my friend's remark about my writing. When I hit the publish button, what I have written was the best that I can do.
Since I know my writing sucks, do I have no shame about letting the world see my lousy work? There is no shame at all. As a new blogger, I am still searching for my voice. As a beginner, I expect my writing would be terrible. The only thing that I can do is keep trying and keep publishing, like a toddler learning how to walk and stumbles through her path.
As of now, my writing has limited audience and reach. Hardly anyone reads it. Therefore, I am free from the shackles of embarrassing myself in front of the world. By the time I find my voice and audience, my writing would be ready for the world to see. The question is only when?
If you are on the path of creating something. Do no worry about the audience. As you have not found them yet, what is important is to keep publishing and releasing to the world. One day, your work will find its audiences and you work will resonate with them. Until then, keep going.
