Feeling the Abundance within Yourself
I enjoy walking in the wet market. Sometimes the smell, noise and cleanliness of the market can be questionable. Yet, we cannot deny energy and vibrancy of the place.
As I walk pass each stall, I can smell the freshness of the vegetables, fruits, meat and seafood. The colour in the market is amazing. Within the chaos, there is beauty. Different walks of life come together. Skin colour does not matter, religion does not matter, gender does not matter.
Everyone in the market are dwelling in their own thoughts. Some could be thinking about their household budget, some could be buying for a special feast. While the stall owners could be counting the day's sales. While another could be worried about un-sold goods.
As I walk through the market, I feel grateful for my life. I am living in a country where there are plenty of food. There is no war. The walk reminds me that life's challenges are everywhere. Everyone has their own inner war. There is no need to judge what others say or do, because we did not lived their life. We all are trying to live the best that we can.
As I walk out from the market. The sound and smell of the market goes away. The energy and vibrance still lingers on. Yes. I have my challenges and stress. I am grateful that I am alive. The simplest happiness in life can be just food and peace.
