Find the Solution by Stepping Away

The last two weeks, I have been obsessed with automating my business. I have studied my daily application's function and experimented with vibe coding. The intention is to make the smallest change to gain the maximum effectiveness.

To automate a manual process requires careful planning. Without a good plan, the automation would fail under the slightest change in circumstances. Therefore, I must keep my steps simple and anticipate whatever changes that I may come across.

I would spent hours fine tuning the code and gain little success. The more time I spent at the desk, the more complicated is my solution. Sometimes, if I just pace around the room or take a shower, a simpler and effective solution would come.

I am not a neuroscientist; My pseudo science explanation is being physically away from the problem, I am not trapped in the tunnel vision of the problem. Thus allowing my brain to have a wider horizon and giving other ideas to arise.

If you are stuck with in a problem. Maybe it is time to take a break and step away from your desk. The solution might just be a few steps away.
