Living Kindfully

Get Up from Where You Fell

Yesterday I wrote a post about how I lost a business deal due to lack of international branding. Then, my supplier wanted to win the business through another company who has the branding. Effectively ditching me out of the business. Under these circumstances, it is very easy to blame the world and play the victim game.

I am upset but I am not giving up. I should get up from the place where I fell down. What I lack is the branding, therefore I should spend more time on branding. I used to think that I will let my work speak for itself. I have a small reputation within the industry, but no one knows me outside of the industry. My business has little presence in the internet. Therefore, it is normal that client does not have confidence in my organisation. I am a nobody both online and offline.

The next logical step is to improve my branding. The actual execution is still in planning phase. The strategy is to raise awareness of my business's services and professionalism. The focus will be on social media before expanding into paid advertising.

As for this blog, it remains separate from my business. This remain as my personal sanctuary from all the madness of life. Nonetheless, I will share the results of my journey.
