Heart Broken? Because You have Loved Deeply
One of my students told me that she is heartbroken because the boyfriend dumped her. Certain relationship is never meant to be. Or the person is never destined to be your life partner.
Whether the person is good or bad, the reason that you are heartbroken is because you have opened up to the person and loved deeply. This is the price of falling in love. Some people lived life without a broken heart. Is this a life that's worth living?
We are human beings and we feel a range of emotions. Feeling happiness and broken hearted are evidence that we are alive. We cannot undo the damages to the heart. Let the pain remind us that this is the price of being alive and falling in love. Be careful in your next relationship. And may you find a long lasting love that you deserve.
