How I Got My Personal WhatsApp Account Suspended
If I must use a phrase to describe the year of 2025 would be "stupid mistakes". The first stupid mistake is how I loss USD4,704.36 by being too proud to check my work. The second mistake is getting my personal WhatsApp account suspended.
The suspension has logged off all my web-app/ application access to WhatsApp. I could not log back into WhatsApp web-app/ application for 24 hours. This is an inconvenience because most of my communications are through the web-app.
The cause of my suspension is because I used a 3rd party Chrome extension to bulk message my clients. During bulk messaging, it must have triggered WhatsApp's spam monitoring alarm which resulted in my suspension.
Upon reading up about the suspension, it is an avoidable problem if I have taken time to learn about WhatsApp Business App.

- I can convert my personal number to business at NO cost.
- It allows bulk messaging. Its limit is well above what I need to send.
Overall, I have made my life complicated by not doing the right thing. A five minutes read up on WhatsApp Business app would:
- Saved me 24 hours of suspension pain.
- Saved me hours on researching about 3rd party bulk messaging tools, which is illegal.
- The stress of not having WhatsApp connected to my computer.
Working hard is not enough. I must work on the right things.
