How the Kitchen Timer Helped with my Productivity
The kitchen timer is my one of my productivity hacks to get myself doing things that I dislike. If I need to do something that I dislike or not motivated to do. I set the timer to two minutes. In those two minutes, I have to do whatever that I need to do. I will not stop until the time is up.
When the time is up, I am allowed to do other things as a reward for about five minutes. Then I repeat the process again. As we repeat the session, the resistance gets lesser. Normally, it takes about three to four sessions for me to get into the momentum that I do not need the kitchen timer anymore.
If you have something that you must do but hate to do? Set the kitchen timer to two minutes and start doing it. Keep repeat the sessions until is done or you do not need the timer anymore.
