Living Kindfully

Let Pain be Your Fuel

I suffered a setback where a large client did not want to renewal contract with me. I was more than just disappointed. The anger and frustration got me thinking whether it is worth continuing my business.

I dug deep doing a postmortem on my operation procedure. I found gaps and area to improve. It was too late to keep this customer. But it pave ways for better business operations.

I wish I can take the easy way out by yelling at whoever that disappointed me. It was a bitter pill to swallow. Let the pain of frustration be your fuel. The fuel that makes you a better person. That you can work harder, work smarter and focus how to create value to those around you.

Since the news broke out to me, the following day I wake up earlier than usual. I cleaned my room, revisit all my to-do list and identify gaps in skills. I do my best to live a discipline life but sometimes I need disappointment to keep myself honest. Results will not lie to me.

If you are facing challenges and disappointment in life. Let it be your fuel so that you can do better. There is no other way out but through it. Remember, you are not alone in this fight.
