Let the Rain talk to You
When I drive, I would listen to podcast. Driving is my learning time, I listen to history podcast or long form interview podcast. If I am not learning while driving, I feel guilty.
Today is an exceptional day, I have to drive through heavy rain. The rain was so heavy that the rain fall drowned out the audio. Thus, I switched off the podcast and listen to the rain instead.
As I listened to the rain, the rain was talking to me. The constant drumming on my windscreen is like a cheer telling me to stay focus on my goal. The cross wind that was pushing the side of my car is a warning that there will be unseen forces that may push me off course. The heavy downfall that forced me to slow down is a warning that I cannot always be charging, I have to sense the danger and slow down.
Maybe all these are just my immigration. Sometimes, instead of having constant input into our brain. Let our mind wonder, it may bring us to places where we have never thought of going.
