Living Kindfully

Life Lesson | You Don't Need a New Cabinet

Lately, I wanted to buy a cabinet to keep my things. I catalogued my stuffs, measured the cabinet space, and planned for the type of cabinet to buy. Just as I embarked for my shopping journey. My wife coldly asked me whether I really need a new cabinet? Reluctantly, I went through my stuffs again. I do not need most of it. The things have no sentimental value, nor useful in near and far future. Finally, the things are either being donated or recycled. The house is now less cluttered and airy.

Here is a life lesson. Instead adding things into our life. The more efficient way is to reduce it. We now live a life of abundance. We probably do not need that many things to live a comfortable life.

Maybe the richness of life is not measured by what we have but only possessing we need.
