No Excuse Not to Learn
I am a fan of self-learning. My favourite learning tools are ChatGPT, NotebookLM, and YouTube. I told my kids that there are no excuses not to learn. When I was growing up in the eighties, the only way to learn is at school, and library. The number of education TV programs are limited. The only programs that I remember are Sesame Street and the Electrical Company.
When I mentor students, it pains me when students tell me that they do not have the opportunity to learn or they came from a poor family. We cannot pick our family, but we can pick how we spent our time. Most of us has a super learning tool in our pocket. Instead of learning, many of us choose distractions. These distractions are like drugs; it pulls us away from our problems but never solves it. As our problem piles up, we choose even more distractions.
There is no excuse not to learn. Whatever that you wish to learn is just a few seconds away. Remember, your success is limited to what you know. The lesser you know, the lesser is your success.
To be successful is quite simple. You just need to act on it.
