Living Kindfully

Sit Down and Take a Deep Breath

My writing machine has Linux Mint OS as operating system. The machine is so underpowered that it is not able to play any internet media. I love this machine as I can concentrate on writing. Every week, the operating system requires patching and requires me to enter the admin password. During the latest update I cannot remember the password! I drew a blank!

I have tried many combination of my usual password, none of it are correct. The harder I try, the more I cannot recall. Finally, I told myself to sit down and take a deep breath. I closed my eyes, let my finger type out the password by feeling familiar keystrokes. I got it!

I cannot explain why I would forget something that I use nearly every week. To solve a problem, sometimes it is not about how hard we work. But we just need to sit down and take a deep breath. The solution would come.
