Living Kindfully

Someone is Wishing to Live Your Life

I sat by the window at a cafe drinking a cup of Earl Grey tea. Actually, the tea has lost its taste. I have lost count how many times I have asked the barista to add hot water into the cup. I sat at the cafe because I need to prepare for my coming AMII Level 2 test.

As I was looking out of the window, I saw a brand-new Porsche pulled up and parked next to the cafe, a handsome gentleman was on a phone. He was coming into the cafe.

As soon as I saw the car, I wondered what he do to have the privilege to own that car. After he made his order he sat behind me, still on the phone. I cannot help but to listen to his conversation. Seems like he was arguing with someone he cares. He was begging for forgiveness. The conversation was distracting. Eventually I had to leave the cafe as I could not concentrate on my studies.

As I walked out from the cafe, I realised that I do not wish to live his life. He may have something nice, but I do not recall I have any serious argument with my family. If we know each other, maybe that gentleman wants to live my life despite my financial setbacks. If I did not overheard his argument, I might want to live his life. Now, I do not wish to live his life.

Despite all your setbacks and hardship, there is always someone who wish to live your life. Appreciate all the positive things that you have now.
