Living Kindfully

Sometimes There is No Solution

A regular reader told me that I somehow have all the solutions to life. No. I do not have the solution. If I do, I would be some kind of self-help guru running expensive seminars. Most of my solution is all about suck-it-up and take it on the chin. There are no shortcuts but to face our problems. Avoiding my problems normally ended up having a bigger problem later.

Sometimes there is no solution. I have faced many situations that there is no solution to my problem. For example, a determined customer who is not going to pay up. Or someone that you trusted decided to betray you. We can reduce the chance of being betrayed or screen the customers carefully. However, once the un-wanted incident happens, we can only reduce its impact. The window of opportunity to prevent it has closed. Being disappointed in life can be a medicine that we all need. It teaches us to see life realistically. Be more careful on protecting ourselves.

The solution that we need does not come immediately, but later.
