Sometimes You need to Detoxify your Mind
Feel that you have been beaten by life? No matter how hard you try, you still fall short of your target? Welcome to the club. You are not alone. There are months where I know I have given my best, but the results are not what I envisioned. I just want to throw everything against the wall and scream.
Maybe it is not that you do not work hard enough. It is you are not working smart enough. To work smart, we need to take a break and recalibrate. Give yourself a couple of hours without any screen and stimulants. Have an appointment with your own thoughts. Observe what goes in your mind and write it down. Let the emotion and ideas pour out. Do not judge and let it all out.
Take it as a form of detoxication of the mind. The time alone clears the mind of impurity. Eventually silence will come, and you can find stillness. You will not find immediate success, but you can take your next step in a mental state that is clearer. Hopefully your next step is closer to success.
