The More Your Write, The More Ideas. A Lesson Learned
This blog is about six months old. I wrote to Derek Sivers thanking him for recommending this blogging platform. This is by far the simplest and easiest blogging platform. Many have told me that blogging is dead. They are probably right, but blogging helps me to clear my head and get my ideas into structured posts.
This blog is aimed to help those who are lost and wanted more from life. Those who are not afraid of taking action but do not know where to start. The blog is not about complaining against life, but to inspire the reader to start doing something with their life.
When I started this blog, I did not have a lot of topics planned. Everyday I would find time to write. Ideas come from articles that I read or something that I experienced.
Initially I was concerned that I will run out of things to say. Fortunately, it has not been the case. The more I write, the more ideas I am seems to have. I keep these ideas in a notebook. Some ideas will never get published. While some ideas need more time to develop.
The more we do, the more we get to do. This principle applies to many parts of life. When I started my business, I was really bad at sales. I am still bad but things have improved over the years. Every sale that I did, and every sale that I failed, I learned something. The next sale will be different. The same goes for writing as well.
If you want to start anything and did not know how to do it? My advice is to start small. Prepare for failure and do not give up. Each win and failure is a lesson learned. Your next attempt will be different. The more you do, the more you will improve.
