To Create, You Must Surrender
I was asked what is my writing process? My writing process is simple, switch on the computer and start typing away. Most of the time, I have no idea what I want to write. I just let the finger do the talking. By surrendering to the process of writing, what I write sometimes surprise me. Where do I get my ideas? Maybe it is something that I have read or taken as note, but I don't usually refer to my personal notes.
During writing, I make sure I stay focused. I do not have the phone with me and the computer that I write on is a refurbished MacBook Air installed with Linux OS. The computer's processing power is very poor; therefore, I can only write and do some simple browsing. The writing process can be 20 minutes to an hour. I do not feel the passage of time. It was just me and the writing. The process is as boring as it can get.
If you want to create anything, just surrender yourself to the process and the results will show.
