Too Busy? Do the Minimum
We all want to improve our life. We set specific daily goals so that we can achieve them. The plans could be read 20 pages or work out in the gym for 45 minutes every day. But we can get caught up in a series of urgent matters and our daily goal takes a back seat.
What happens if you just do not have the bandwidth to complete your daily goals? Do you stop? No! You just need to do the minimal. If you cannot read 20 pages, aim to read 1 page. If you cannot go to the gym, aim to do 10 pus-ups. Whatever happens, do not skip your daily goal but to do the minimal.
Here are some of my daily goals and the minimum that I aimed to do. Instead of reading 20 pages, I read 3 pages. Instead of 2 kilometres jog, I quick walk while listening up to 2 songs. Instead of spending 25 minutes on my studies, I spent 5 minutes on my studies.
By doing the minimal, when I assess my day, I know I have done the minimum to keep my streak running.
