You Don't Need that Thing

I have always wanted a smart watch, but I never owned one. I could not find a real reason to buy one. I get jittery whenever I receive a phone message notification. If I wear a smart watch, I think I would be distracted 24/7. There are other functions such as fitness tracking. I already maintain a regular workout routine, Does additional fitness information makes a difference? Probably no.

I try to live a life of minimalism. It is an uphill battle. Every day, I am bombarded by news or post that I am not good enough. If I can own that "X" thing, my life would improve. Most of us have more than enough, adding more will not make us happier. Instead we need less.

We need less distraction. We need less information. We need to eat less. What we truly need is a break from life and an opportunity to talk to our love ones and ourselves.
