You have to be Patient
There is a Chinese saying - success is 90% hard work, 10% patience. Many who worked hard but only have limited success. Sometimes, it is down to luck and sometimes it is down to patience. We cannot control luck, but we can control our patience.
I used to run about 10 kilometers. The most difficult part of the running is the last kilometer. The first 9 KM was powered through hard work but the last kilo meter was a mental game. By the last kilo meter, I am tired and looking forward to the finishing line. This is also the period where my running posture is inefficient, and I am not mindful with my stride. I have gotten impatient, and I wanted it to end quickly. This is how I injured myself. I was not thinking about the running but the finishing line.
Whatever that you are doing, you have to keep your eyes on the end goal but be mindful of the process. Complete the task at hand to your best ability no matter how close to the finishing line. That's why the last 10% of patience is important. Hardwork brings you 90% of the journey but 10% brings you to the finishing line.
