Living Kindfully

3 Weeks I ran 51KM | Some Thoughts

Here is my running mileage from 21st October 2025 until 11th November 2025.

The distance that I covered is not far at all. Nevertheless, there are a few take away from this exercise.

  1. Behold the power of accumulation. A 2km run is very short. It is so short that it is barely enough for warm up. If I run 2km nearly every day for 3 weeks, the mileage quickly stacks up. Whatever dreams or projects that you are pursuing now, do not underestimate the power of accumulation.

  2. Consistency is Key. To unlock the power of accumulation, you have to show up every day. There are days where you may not want to do it, but you still get it done. Unless it is a life and death situation, otherwise you have to keep grinding every single day. You may not see immediate results, when you look back you will have no regrets.

  3. No one is going to cheer you. Success is a lonely journey. Be your own cheerleader. I did not share my plans with anyone as I know I will be persuaded to quit. There is no need to tell anyone about your dreams or plans. Let your action speaks for itself.
