Entrepreneurship: Why I work During Public Holidays
Today is a public holiday but other states in my country are a working day. My office is closed; I still make a point to engage my customers. My business philosophy is simple, as long as my customers are working, I am too working.
I am not proud at the fact that I do not have work-life balance. I am still suffering from the fear of losing everything. Moreover, I still have not pay off the financial loss that I suffered last year. Due to the debt; I am barely covering all my expenses.
Despite being a "work" day for me, I make a point to have both lunch and dinner with the family. After dinner, my sons and I went to the gym for our exercise. The rest of time, I be working on the business. My family is both my reasons to focus and distraction from my business. Without them, I probably end up as an alcoholic.
