Google Or AI Agent Does Not Make you an Expert
Lately, a person in my life could not stop explaining the results of 2026 US Mid Term Election. There is nothing wrong with listening to someone who has opinion to share. It is the pretentious that got me thinking. When the Iran War started, he is the middle east historian. During the AI data centre debate, he is the environmental expert. Now, he is the political commentator.
Google and AI Agent are convenient, but what we can learn is like drinking from a firehose. Parroting what the internet says does not make us the expert in that domain. We can learn the facts, but the wisdom takes time. Learning is like chewing a piece of food. We pay attention to the taste and texture. From the experience, we form an opinion. Parroting a fact is like swallowing without chewing. We ended up with indigestions.
Before you share something, ask yourself whether you actually understood the topic or you are just repeating what you have read.
