How I Improve My Sleep
For many years, I have been fighting to have a good night sleep. Due to stress and issues from life, I hardly get a good night sleep. Even I sleep early, I would be tossing on the bed.
So far these are the remedies and routines that I found helpful.
- Unload your mind before bedtime. Before sleeping, I would write this blog and plan the following day's schedule.
- No alcohol before bedtime. Not even a beer.
- Stop the doom scrolling, put down the phone and go to bed. Doom scrolling does not relax the mind.
- Avoid coffee after 3pm.
- Stay active throughout the day. Aim to walk 10,000 steps a day. Or do any kind of exercise for at least 20 minutes.
- If the weather is too hot, take a cold shower before bed.
