Live Fully and Die Fully
It has been more than 48 hours since my good friend has been cremated. There was a ceremony where family and friends to pick up his ashes and spread into the sea. I could not bring myself to attend the ceremony as I know I cannot control my emotions.
After the cremation ceremony, we had dinner and drinks at my friend's favourite restaurant. Everyone had a good time where we shared stories about my friend. None of us talked about what he has or owns. We only talked about how he has touched our life. I know him for about 15 years; he lived a good, honest life. In short, he left us early, but he left a lasting mark.
A well lived life is not about accumulation of things but how we affect other's life. He had lived fully so he can die fully as well.
