There is No "If" in Life
- If I have worked hard, I can pass the exams.
- If I have focused on my career, I don't have to worry about money.
- If I have spent more time with my kids, we can still talk.
Every day, we hear many "ifs". My biggest "if" is:
If I have taken more risk in my twenties, I be more fulfilled.
I only have this realisation in my late 30s, but there is no "if" in life. It is either do or don't do. When you have to make the "if" statement, that means it is too late. Live life and remove the "if" from your words.
Here are the better statements.
- I have worked hard; I can pass the exams.
- I have focused on my career; I don't have to worry about money.
- I have spent more time with my kids; we can still talk.
