Living Kindfully

We Can't Solve All Problems

I have to accept that my to-do list will never finish. Many problems are beyond my control. No matter how hard I work, there will be problems that need my attention. I can only solve problems that are within my control.

Looking back at my life, my stubbornness in refusing to accept certain problems are unsolvable has costed me many sleepless nights.

Here are some examples.

  1. My children's behaviour which I find unacceptable.
  2. How customers took my quotes and asked another supplier to match it.
  3. How customers dropped my contract after I have solved their problems.
  4. My eye sights that are deteriorating due to age.
  5. Rumours and hurtful things that people say behind my back.
  6. My parent's aging and health issues.
  7. My parent's nagging and worries over my life.

If you are having problems, ask yourself whether it is solvable? If yes, take action and solve it. If no, accept it and move on.
