Living Kindfully

You are Never too Young to Start

My son loves 4X4 vehicle. He knows these vehicles so well that he can tell me the model and its history by looking at its side profile. He dreams of restoring an old Defender.

I told him that since he already knows what he wants, he should start pursue that dream of owning one. There is nothing wrong to chase after a dream that seems to be far and impossible. What is important is to take one step and followed by another.

Sometimes he may have to move away from that dream to get closer to it. Why? He needs to learn how to make money and manage money. Financial management has nothing to do with 4x4 but vital for him to make the dream a reality.

He asked whether it is okay for a young person to own an old Defender? I said as long as it is not against the law, he has the right to own anything that he wants. In fact, my biggest regret in life is not to pursue my dreams early in my life.

There is no such thing as too young to start. The sooner you learn the journey's difficulty and the sooner you can make the necessary corrective measure. Do not be afraid, start now.
