My USD2,500 Loss | Temptation to the Darkside
Someone heard about my USD2,500 loss, this person offered me a way out and the opportunity to make even more money. What he said makes sense. I have worked hard to service my customers and play within the rules. All I need is just one screw up to undo all my hard work. Since my massive losses from last year, has things improved? Did anyone come to me and want to work with me because I own my mistakes? After my losses, has anyone step up and give me a helping hand? He remarked that I could not even tell my family about the losses.
I told him that I did receive some encouragements from my readers but that's about it. Another person tried to exploit my desperation by introducing some kind of investment scams. Other than that, I am on my own.
He is offering me a way out. Basically, he is asking me to commit fraud. He said it is victimless. I have a strong reputation in the market, and no one will notice. I just need to do it once; I can cover the losses and with some extra for the family.
I turned him down. I know it will never be a one-off thing. My reputation in the market is my life. Death is my exit plan. I will work until I drop dead. My losses are bad, but my family is not starving. I still have the chance to make the right choice. I just wish I do not have to come to this stage.
